Are you passionate about fashion and eager to share your knowledge with aspiring designers? We are seeking an enthusiastic Online Fashion Design Instructor to join our dynamic team in the Fashion industry. You will be responsible for developing engaging and innovative course content that reflects current industry trends, techniques, and technologies while fostering a classroom atmosphere that encourages creativity and self-expression. You will be instrumental in helping students refine their skills, build their portfolios, and gain confidence in their design abilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging online lectures and practical assignments for students
- Assess and provide feedback on student projects and presentations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and technologies to inform course content
- Mentor and guide students in their individual design projects and portfolios
- Create and manage course materials and resources, including instructional videos and reading materials
- Evaluate and revise class content based on student feedback and industry changes
Requirements
- Proven experience in fashion design or a related field
- A portfolio demonstrating your design capabilities and aesthetic
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse students
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital design tools
- A degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, or a related discipline is preferred
- Ability to inspire and motivate students from various backgrounds
- Prior teaching experience or experience in mentoring fashion students is a plus
